“Bernie would have won the general”
We’ll never know but I think it’s possible Bernie would have won. I remember in 2016 that no one wanted to talk about all the disaffected millenials saying they couldn’t decide between Trump and Sanders.
It would have been a completely different race since neither side would have all the rigged voting machines, media complicity and other dirty tricks that Hillary had going for her.
My belief is that Trump actually won 2016 in an overwhelming landslide, the so called “popular vote” victory of Clinton’s was entirely fraud, as was about 25% of the rest of her votes.
Don’t ever count on the young vote to win the race
They are a small percent of the voting demographics
I don’t think Bernie would have energized them anymore then any other candidate would have. Sure they like to show up to his events for the freebies but going to vote is a different story.
You want to depress the young vote, legalize weed, get that stupid issue out of the way. Its the only one they care about the most, everything else is boring to them. Heck, open up the evidence lockers at all the police stations and have the police stations dispose of all the weed at college parties the weekend before the election. Most would be too efed up to vote or would end up writing in Lizard People, which according to Al Franken’s lawyers, is a vote for Democrats.
Had Trump received the vote you claim the House would not have flipped.
