Week 11 was among the least exciting college football weekends in memory, but we anticipated that. Now some are worried we could have a repeat in Week 12, considering it’s SoCon Saturday in the SEC (and, quietly, cupcake week for the Power 5’s other top teams as well).

There are some bad games. Alabama’s gonna destroy a lesser team this week, but so what? How is that different from every other week so far this year? Look beyond the filler content.

In fact I just saw where NDSU is ranked 24th in the Sagarin rankings for whatever that’s worth.

"‘Bama is playing The Citadel. I know this will be a big payday for The Citadel and kudos to them for even playing the game. But as to watching.... no."

These smaller schools are grateful to Alabama for playing them....they really need the $ 1 million they'll receive from playing the game.

Yes,Army took Hawaii, and Buffalo out of the unbeaten record. I think there was another team too but can’t remember who they were.

Makes money for the FCS team. Talk to Minnesota and Iowa before you schedule.

Yep, that was a disappointment.

We have to face the unpleasant fact, that ND is in.

Not a disappointment for me :) but, while they are a top ten team, there is a vast distance between Alabama and anybody else.
