It still does. Supermarkets get slammed around here everytime snow gets in the forecast. I will never understand it. Even with the worst of the snowstorms, the roads eventually get plowed and life gets back to normal. I remember the big blizzard of 1978 that hit eastern Massachusetts. Three feet of snow. Dukakis called out the National Guard and everything. In that storm, some side roads weren't plowed for a week. But nobody starved and that was a once in a lifetime kind of storm.
This "bread and milk" routine is ridiculous.
