God.
He made it all. He wanted us go forth and multiply. He told Abraham his progeny would be like the stars in Heaven, like the sand grains on the beach.
Over billions of years, He made it all, for us.

One can posit “multiverses” or “life is a computer simulation” and they are considered hipsters or deep-thinkers.
But if you mention God - or simply a creator, you’re merely a kook.
Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
