I read what you wrote. I’m just trying to figure out the thinking process behind raising taxes on the rich and/or those you don’t like for political disagreements.

That’s simply put, discrimination and abuse of power of any entity that would place that on a subset of our society, especially those who produce jobs. Can you imagine if the tables were flipped and Democrats decided they would specifically tax businesses that Republicans owned?

You sound like the typical lib - tax the rich, hurt your opponents and redistribute the earnings for more votes.

“Democrats decided they would specifically tax businesses that Republicans owned?”

And that is exactly what the Democrats would do in the majority. We are losing this country. We are losing it through immigration, the media and a lot of other ways. Wealthy libs are completely taking over. And wealthy Republicans are just trying to get more tax cuts. We have to break up this coalition or we are finished. threatening higher taxes on the miscreants is one way that might do it. Making them live up to their own values is one of Alinsky tactics and we should take a que from his tactics if we are to save our country. e have things more important than economics and to save this country we are going to have new tactics to deal with a completely different set of circumstances than we have had in the past. If you haven't figured out it is the rich that are the socialists and the Republican elite are duplicitous, feckless and treacherous. We need to do something desperate to get their attention.

But it's not for "political disagreements".

It's because most of them are white.
