A woman from Ohio has been caught with her hand in the cookie jar, literally. Noel Hines, 31, accepted a large order for Girl Scout cookies to sell for her daughter's troop in March, but when time came for the bill to be paid, the Girls Scouts claim they never received any payment. Girl Scout officials and police say they then tried to contact Hines several times over a period of six months but were never successful at reaching her in order to retrieve the $1,600 that they were owed. 'That's the way the cookie crumbles,' North College Hill police wrote in a Facebook post.
Earlier this week Hines was arrested for unrelated charges and charged with theft at the North College Hill Mayor's court.

How many boxes? At $5 a box thats over 300 boxes! Is that based on cost to make or sale price? Either way thats serious eating OR she sold em and kept the money.
