What is the current makeup of the FLA Supreme Court? If it’s as leftist as it was during Bush v. Gore, GOP may be screwed.

Florida Supremes Appointments:

(2 J’s) Chief Canady & 1 J : Rick Scott

1 J: Jeb!

2 J’s: Charlie Crist (RINO morphed to RAT)

2 J’s: Dems (left over from 2000 FL SCourt)

It’s in much better shape then in 2000 (Bush v. Gore) where only one was a dual R/D appointment and the rest of the 6 were long standing D appointments.

It's not nearly as bad as it was back then but as a side note the incoming Governor will be appointing 3 new justices to the FLSC in the first half of next year. 3 were appointed by a Democrat and 4 by a Republican (the republican was Crist, however). The 3 appointed by the Democrat (Chiles) are retiring in 2019 so it's important that DeSantis wins for that reason alone.

I doubt that either DeSantis or Scott with make it that far but the Ag commissioner race (Matt Caldwell) just might as he is behind now and under suspicious circumstances. He is suing for a forensic recount, and that will be a fight. It's the Ag office that issues conceal carry permits and the Democrat is a leftist as you can get, so it could be a pretty big deal.
