“Failure to clean out the underbrush and thin the trees has brought this to their doorsteps.” Interesting, by denying forest management, they are allowing God to do what he does, the natural order of things. If they want to go along with that, they need to start building houses somewhere else, preferably in the desert. I would make they houses out of stone as well, because blowing sand destroys houses as well. Just sayin’..

Well, no, it’s not allowing the natural order. The natural order would be herds of herbivores to clean our the underbrush, low hanging branches and seedlings. There would be fires but not as devastating as what we are seeing.

I agree they should build in the desert but they can’t. Acres and acres of delicate desert live has been destroyed by giant solar and wind farms. In their quest to save the earth, they have worked to destroy it. All those plastic bags replaced brown bags that compost back into the earth. Plastic straws replaced waxed paper straws, They upset the natural order.
