Chick-fil-A’s entrance in the Boston market comes six years after the late Boston Mayor Thomas Menino said he would oppose the chain from opening within city limits after Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy voiced his opposition to gay marriage in 2012. The bad press never impacted sales at the chain, which has seen its market share grow 13% in the last four years.

Yeah, it’s cool that Chick-fil-A is doing their thing and they have principles, but...

I _really_ like Popeyes ;-)

Have never tried Popeyes and doubt I shall.

I'm not a fan of fast food at all and ONLY stop for an ice tea and fries, when we do long road trips. We always bring food from home, to eat on the road; but, I can't bring French fries. :-)

But each to his/her own.

Always ask for your sandwich without pickles and your fries (well done). That way, it will be hot and crispy.

Right - clearly was out of compassion in response to need - unlike Starbucks that refused water in NYC on 9/11.

It is not on their menu. And their whole cow campaign is to indicate they’re saving cows because there is no beef.

If some franchises are allowed to add to the menu, maybe. But I haven’t seen one yet (not saying much).
