Thanks. My attempted search of his name, got me no where and every where. I like Blessed to Teach, Praying Medic, Patriot Hour and a few others.

Of note in case anyone missed it.

Q posted a post over on chan's board Patriots Fight. They are anticipating a shut down. Praying Medic is being blocked on You Tube right now. Buckle up everyone.

We were watching that HBO mini series "The Pacific", my combat veteran husband observed that we should in fact use the chin straps on our "helmets". Just saying!

Yes and in aviation movies the pilots really would want to have their oxygen masks on their faces, not dangling to the side.

In the ETO specific orders otherwise for infantry at risk of exposure to artillery attack. About 1/2 way down the page. Anecdotally confirmed by the toughest squad leader ever, Sgt Saunders of Combat. Helmet chin straps

There was an awesome miniseries called Generation Kill about GWII. A marine is up top on the ma deuce with his chin strap loose and the Bradley hits a bump and it goes flying off. You kind of forget about it until they come to a stop later in the episode taking a break and the Sergeant Major comes up and starts reaming him a new one “THAT KEVLAR WARN’T YORES TA LOOOOOOOSE!!!!! THAT WAS THE PROPERTY O’ THESE UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS!!!!! BECAUSE O’ YORE FAILURE TA SECURE THAT HEYMET, YOU’VE JEAPORDIZED EVERY MARINE SERVIN’ TADAY! I OUGHTTA NJP YORE @SS!!!!! Then later you see him wearing a motorcycle helmet he scrounged.

That’s probably more realistic.
