I received virtually no religious instruction as a child, and to this day have no faith in such matters. And yet after more than half a century my entire criminal career consists of two minor traffic tickets. Where do you think your moral compass came from? Family? Society? Simply innate to your being? I'm not being flippant - because I don't know. Religion helps many, but I know many decent people who claim no religious belief or influence whatsoever.

Where do you think your moral compass came from? Family? Society? Fair question. Family first, certainly. Ive also been influenced by many authors; Robert Heinlein and Ayn Rand come to mind.
