Thing is, next time luck may be on his side. This race was about nothing more than getting name recognition for his POTUS run. It wasn’t to win this race but the next one.

The odds are good that is the plan. He now has millions of dollars, a huge donor mailing list (very important), and he comes from a big state with a lot of delegates. With 20 Democrat candidates next time, he will be at an advantage.

If Beaten could not overcome rural Texas, I doubt whether he will be able to get any other rural area in the nation. He'll now go on the stump and get on every Late-Night, Joy Behar lovefest spouting his crap punctuated with the f###-word. And the more he opens his mouth the more we will see the real person.
Besides, anyone who goes up against Hillary ...
