The number of subpoenas and investigations will end up creating a directly proportional number of seats democrats will lose in 2020.
If they can’t learn from the lessons of the past, and investigations overtake legislation, then, why would voters keep them on? Representation does not mean investigations? Representation is about legislation. If democrats believe voters put them in charge just to stop Trump and to conduct investigations, then, we’ll see them going down in 2020 by huge margins.
Having said that, I’m hoping democrats do decide to do more investigations than legislation, because, that will put republicans back in charge in 2020, meaning that whatever investigations democrats set in motion, will be squashed by the new republican congress.
House investigations mean nothing
