The Broadway show Hamilton is horrible Rap Music. If you are like me and can't stand angry Rap music, don't go.
Go figure.
Rap is hate porn.
You got your money back, right?
Ping.
What were you thinking, LOL?
It gave me a headache by the 2nd or 3rd Rap song. I left at intermission.
All the reviews are excellent.
The play is not historically accurate but it is politically correct!
I haven’t been to a show, but have heard the music and watched the choreography.
The music was pop/hop-hop schmalz and the choreography was pedestrian. The fact it was popular simply shows the madness of crowds and the strength of group-think in places like NY City.
Revisionism by the America haters. Some have told me it’s “okay” if you burn a little weed before you go in.
Politically correct means historically inaccurate.
I watched some scenes on the Tony Awards, disgusting stupid rap music and an all black cast. How insulting to the greatness of George Washington and the other Founding Fathers.
Totally agree we with you. Group think.
So how much did you pay for a seat?
Yes, I’m out in flyover country and there’s nothing more cool for an affluent teen girl to get to see Hamilton in NYC; it’s a status symbol. Go figure.
You never heard the music before you went? Ive listened to it on Spotify and its not bad at all, but if you dont like it, why go? Those tix are pricy.
My wife and I were in Manhattan last week, and caught a broadway show of Hamilton. The tickets were $480.00 each, off the charts for me, but man, what a theater!
I had heard the soundtrack, repeatedly, and knew the music beforehand.
It’s a look back into our history, through a different lens. In a way that connects with people, not historically astute, and serves to make them curious — about history....
We need that!
I loved it and think it has very positive benefits.
It was about $100 for tickets in the mezzanine. Tonight was opening night on tour at DPAC in Durham, NC.
The theater seats 2,500 to 3,000 and is sold out for all 3 weeks.
