It's a RACIST rewritten, disgusting POS, with a score worthy only for torturing one's enemies with.
You couldn’t give me 100 smackers to sit thru that cRap.
I know it is popular, but it seems to be the founding fathers in black face, and disrespectful to the actors.
Because they were written by SOCIAL JUSTICE WARRIORS and stinking COMMIES who all HATE this nation, its founders, and us!
The writer gave free tickets to poor blacks & Hispanic kids, ALL of whom now believe that our FFs were black, Hispanic, and Asians and that whites ( King George III is the only white in the cast and he is made out to be a moron! ) are hateful, stupid, and worthless.
I catch a lot of Broadway shows. It’s expensive staying at the Marriott Marquis, but I get the tickets half price under the bleachers in Time Square.
Alan Dershowitz sat a few seats from me back in May of this year.
I enjoy a good show....
“You couldnt give me 100 smackers to sit thru that cRap.”
Agree 100%. I didn’t do my homework.
If your screen name reflects who you are, then I can’t understand why you support this show after all the anti-right publicity it garnered when it opened. The cast tried to humiliate Mr. Pence. And as for the reviews; who writes them if it isn’t the leftist anti-American sycophants? If you’re a Democrat then I get it.
If anyone is interested, bootlegs of Hamilton can easily be downloaded, even in HD/Bluray.
Stupid me... I had not paid attention to the details and knew little about it.
I actually thought it would be something like the old “1776” play that I loved.
What did you know about the show before you went?
If you knew the genre and it was not your taste why did you go?
If you didn't know the genre or anything about it or what to expect why did you go?
I wasn’t going to go to Hamilton. But I have season tickets for all the shows at DPAC.
“What did you know about the show before you went?”
Very little. I like history...
I learned....
You can find the soundtrack and videos of scenes from Hamilton for example.
There's also a video of Obama and Michelle who highly recommend it.
Yep, that group-think thing is really scary. I love to go to NY, but when I go by TS and see what is playing, I don't think I would like any of the shows. I certainly would not trust the reviewers.
Bingo!
Isn’t that cultural appropriation?
sad thing is that rap was not originally the nasty thing it is today. back in the 1980s I was in basic training and encountered a bunch of black 17,18,19 year old’s from Philadelphia. they were really into rap. back then it was all noises made just with your body and mouth. you would have sevral guys creating a base beat using just here mouth and you might use a bucket as a drum or what ever metal chair as a metallic sound to go along with the drum beat from the bucket. then one or two guys would use verse to tell a story...it was real cool and not the garbage I would start to hear later in years promoted by the gangs. theses were kids that had grown up in the projects who looked at the army as a way out and there music was a very localized movement and at the time with no thought but to have fun The gangs and record companies ruined it.
Oh, I thought the Democrat Gillum took your tickets for himself.
My bad.
