Texas Head Coach Tom Herman Might Be the Biggest Sore Loser in College Football

Texas Longhorns head coach Tom Herman might be a good football coach, but over the past few weeks, he's continued to reveal himself as quite a sore loser.

Herman's Texas squad lost a close game to West Virginia on Saturday after Mountaineers quarterback Will Grier threw a last-minute touchdown and then ran the ball in on a two-point conversion with 16 seconds left on the clock to win 42-41 in Austin.

It was a fantastic, gutsy call from West Virginia's head coach Dana Holgorson and it paid off, but here's how Herman responded postgame.

During a thrilling game between West Virginia and Texas at Austin at least twice WVU players gave an inverted "Hook Em Horns" hand signal after big plays including WVU QB Will Grier after he scored the game winning 2 pt conversion. How did Texas players and coaches respond? They started whining about how WVU is being disrespectful. That just shows how a bunch of privileged whiners Texas players, coaches and fans are. They luv to shove that stupid "Hook Em Horns" in our face every time they are winning, etc but if someone turns it back on them they cry to mommy. I have not heard Florida State complain as opposing teams and fans have mocked the team multiple times with the back at you Tomahawk Chops. This is why I hate Texas; a bunch of fans etc who think they are God's gift to football. INVERTED HOOK EM HORNS to Texas.

Actually, UT coaches were complaining that the runner was "taunting" before crossing the goal line. According to NCAA rules, that should have negated the 2 point conversion.

Actually no I just don’t like U Texas. I hate the colors, the fight song, the arrogance, a drugged up cow as the mascot, and how they keep talking about how great they are despite winning one 1 national championship since over the past 40 years.

My second favorite team after the Univ of Minnesota (my alma mater) is the University of Houston.

Herman did great things when he was there but he really made a tremendous ass of himself (IMHO) when he bailed out and left for Texas. Lots and lots of talk from him - but no substance to a lot of that talk.

I only wish Oklahoma had beaten them in the Red River Shoot Out.

They knew the two point try was coming and took a timeout to "ice" the play. They still couldn't stop it.

The WV QB stuck the ball out to make sure he’d get a TD. He wasn’t taunting. Herman is making a fool out of himself by suggesting that.
