Agreed. I grew up with both Tom Baker and also Jon Pertwee. A shame a number of the Pertwee episodes got trashed or taped over by some rather bright people (lol) in the BBC bureaucracy, but fortunately most if not all of the ones originally lost have been recovered in one way shape or another. Same thing happened even more so to the Patrick Troughton episodes and also the William Hartnell ones (he who was the very first Doctor).

Many of the recovered episodes were restored and are available on Amazon with a Britbox subscription ($7 month) with seven day free trail.
