The student should have been seriously disciplined with suspension. The teacher did not have a right to hit the student unless it was in self-denfense to counter or prevent a physical attack.
Technolically that’s true. But if he used the n word then I have no sympathy for him.
Suspension is not a punishment for a youth who is there against his will to begin with.
