How could you NOT check in for results, even if you WEREN’T on the same political page? Except one person would be smiling and one not, in that case. This way, you either rejoice together (my deepest hopes) or have someone to comfort you until you can come back to us and we’ll all put our arms around one another.

I'm just the one telling everyone to put their phone away during dinner etc. Just debating the hypocrisy of pulling it out tonight...especially tonight. But I think we will just agree its okay since we both will be on pins and needles.
