Rod Rosenstein canceled a speech scheduled for Thursday in San Francisco.

The Aspen Institute says it wasn’t given a reason for the cancellation

Two options come to mind.

1.) He was going to publically resign and go the F off. Something changed his mind. He consulted with his derp masters who gave him alternative battle plans.

2.) He was going to just go the F off without resigning. Again, something changed his mind. Maybe pressure from OUR guys.

Either way, there is no reasonable reason for him to hold a press conference other than in relation to his meeting with the Donald and in regards to recent Mueller/Sessions/Replacement AG action.

p.s. I wonder if he expected to be Session's replacement after being stroked by Preezy.

He really isn't that sharp, you know.

It could be that he was led to believe that during his many marches up to the White House. If so, epic level smack down. We’ll never know.

Maybe he doesn’t want to leave his office and fly to the West Coast because he remembers what happened the last time a high ranking official flew across the country when he was under a cloud. :-)
