Old media IMHO. most people, granted I’m in SEC territory think ND is the overrated ugly friend of the prom queen. Now if D = seats or eyes on a game then it makes sens but no one in 800 miles thinks it anything then network BS.
That’s because college football is a extremely regional sport. People root for their school and don’t really care about the other teams. However, Notre Dame is well liked in the Midwest and the East Coast. There is a reason they have their own television deal. They bring in money. I’m not saying it’s right, it’s just reality. Like I said it’s a corrupt sport.
