Excellent news! I’m glad that nobody capsized. It is kind of sad walking into our little polling place here, we are Rural and pretty spread out so there are usually more poll workers than there are voters. I guess it would be fun to have a nice crowd to be convivial with.

An 82-year-old Texas woman voted for the first time. Then she died. “She was very happy. She kept saying she finally got to vote,” her son-in-law said.

“She was very proud,” Griffith said. “She wanted to drain the swamp. She voted straight-ticket Republican.”

Polling place had a steady stream of voters. Person I know, who is giving out the paper slips, said she has never run out of paper till today and had to change her machine. There were 3 printing out the slips. Translation, a whole lot of voters for a mid-term.
