I use a cheese pizza as a test for a pizza joint - would this pizza be good as just cheese or does it require toppings? Are the crust, sauce and cheese great or are they merely adequate for topping? Where I live there is only one place which passes that test.
On this point I always defer to the pizza snobs in my clan. They hail from Manhattan and their standards are in the stratosphere. In PA they won't touch a pizza unless it comes from the local Domino's. They consider it a miracle, a good pizza springing forth from a grotto in the hinterlands.
Sadly, there are no similar miracles for seafood.
As for decaf, some folks are sensitive to caffeine and a spoonful of decaf helps ward off tachycardia.
