I should have read the article; I just finished reading and it explained the victim may have been given drugs in a drink.
Better if women don’t drink with strangers and leave bars with men they don’t know. Doesn’t justify the rape, of course. But common sense doesn’t hurt.
well it would be good and “better” for men not to give women drugs and then rape them..
I was ‘roofied’ once. With a friend in a bar on our first drink. Some guy walked in and sat down next to me. I never even talked to him. Got up to go to the bathroom and that’s the last thing I remember. Someone came and told my friend I was drunk and laying in the bathroom floor. She knew better. She got the bouncer to help her get me to the car. The whole time some guy was following telling her he’d take me home if she wanted to stay. So glad she was a smart gal about it. I woke up about 11 the next day.
Didn’t know the guy. Never talked to him and definitely didn’t or wouldn’t have left with him.
