Interesting. Those scams have been going around a lot lately. The source of the passwords seemed to be an old myspace or Adobe hack. Are you sure the password was used exclusively here?

To the best of my recollection I never used it anywhere else, although I did begin using it on FreeRepublic MANY years ago - so it’s possible my memory of an instance of usage elsewhere may have faded over time.
