Could you please consider asking him if he knows anything about the FEMA agreement that thousands of Pastors have reportedly signed (with Non-Disclosure Agreements) "Emergency Response Team Pastors" or some such. Essentially agreeing to lead their flock to FEMA camps when things are eventually deliberately crashed (thankfully AFTER--hopefully a long time after--Trump's 8 years). Just texted him the question. It may require verbal discussion either by phone or over Thanksgiving Dinner table but I will get his response.
I seem to remember this being brought up 20 or so years ago by 2 knowledgeable contacts. One was my pastor at the time who moved on and I lost track of. The other has passed away but IIRC he had a link to something like that. At any rate, FEMA is a disturbing thing to me despite son-in-law using these times as personal ministry. He isn't blind to the downside of having FEMA and is open to my points.

Can send you an email for somewhat more protected comms, if you wish.
I agree about FEMA. Like--"We are the government. We are here to help you." Yeah, RIGHT! Not!
At best it is a mixed bag.
