[D] Party Con:
When you can't raise money 'organically' through party (individual) donations (voter base) YOU STEAL IT from the American taxpayer and give it back to yourself in the form of campaign contributions.
[Example 1]
Planned Parenthood
https://www.gao.gov/products/GAO-18-204R📁
$1.5 billion provided in taxpayer funding over 3-year period.
[Case 1]
PP spent $30 million [disclosed - real estimates close to $65 million] in taxpayer subsidies to influence the outcome of the 2018 midterm elections.
[Conclusion]
Should it be legal for a taxpayer [D+R+I] funded organization to donate massive amounts of money to the D party in an effort to sway an election?

This had been needed to be stated - and it is the tip of the iceberg! Same about AARP and others, but more than all this the public employee unions. Dems get them big raises and benefits, their unions {e.g.: AFSCME} collect huge amounts in dues and donate much back to the Dem politicos.

It is all legal - because the people who rake in the $$$ made it legal!

Regarding Q drop 2398 about Planned Parenthood.

Just saw in local news today that the city of Austin is giving planned parenthood space rent free. Ok, $1/month, for their facilities in Austin. The article was unclear-ish but I believe there is included in that free site an abortion clinic.

Sorry, no link, the article was copied and pasted into an email from a friend.

We had an interesting example of Democrat money laundering in Arizona. Arizona's "Clean Elections" law gives government money to statewide candidates who agree not to take outside money. A number of Democrat candidates took the money and then donated much of it to the state Democrat party.

The Clean Elections law created the moral hazard leading some people (i.e., Democrats) to run for office solely for the purpose of getting free money to donate to their party.
