16 and 17 years old is above the age of consent in much of the country. Not kids. Young adults.
In FL it’s 18. There’s an exception if one is 14-17 and the other is no more than 4 years older. Still illegal, but no sex offender status.
I disagree. I’ve been a 16 year old girl and I did not understand adult sexuality at all and was still really a victim of people who manipulated by youth.
