Television legend Carl Reiner, 96, said he wants to live to 2020 so he can vote President Trump out of office.
The creator of The Dick Van Dyke Show said in a Twitter video that he served in World War II to defeat fascism.
Ive lived through the Great Depression. I served in World War II in our fight to defeat fascism. Ive seen the invention of television and performed on television even before my family owned one, he said.

Like how Mel Brooks keeps quiet about politics and Dick van Dyck is not very vocal.
Here’s Reiner’s WWII service:
“In 1944, after completing language training, he was sent to Hawaii to work as a teleprinter operator. The night before he was to ship out for an unknown assignment, he attended a production of Hamlet by the Special Services entertainment unit. Following an audition for actor and Major Maurice Evans, he was transferred to the Special Services. Reiner performed around the Pacific theater, entertaining troops in Hawaii, Guam, Saipan, Tinian, and Iwo Jima for the next two years. In 1946, he was discharged.”
He was an Army Special Services douchebag, not a frontline combat soldier. D!ckhead.
ALL Republicans, not just Donald Trump, are painted with the same “racist, sexist, homophobic, Islamaphobic, white-supremist, bigoted, stupid, reactionary” label, even such an accommodating soul as the late John McCain, an accusation that is almost without any remaining force. It is obvious that the hate now directed against Republicans was once reserved for those numbered among minorities, usually of a different skin color a couple of generations ago, or against various religions not of the “accepted” variety, which now includes just about every religion NOT Islam.
This is stereotyping of the very worst kind, and one into which the “passionate” Democrats cannot seem to come to grips with, in some instances unable to even recognize it in themselves.
Projection is such a hopelessly debilitating mental disorder. “Trump derangement syndrome” is a very pernicious condition.
To Nov 2, 2020.
Since when do you have to be alive to vote Democrat
I want Carl to live to at least 2024 so he can see President Trump’s re-election and then the election of President Pence!
I didn’t know that guy was still alive. His son Rob the “Meathead” from “All In The Family” has always been high profile.
He is the same age as my father. My father signed up with the Navy on Pearl Harbor Day and served as a Navy diver until the end of the war.
My father applied for his driver’s license renewal in Florida and was bragging to me that he got it. It’s extended to 2022. He thinks it’s funny he says the state of Florida has sanctioned him to live to 100.
That was my first thought as well. My second thought was, he said he fought against fascism, yet he doesn’t even know what it is. Anybody with any cognitive functioning at all knows that what Obonga attempted to do was the real step into fascism.
Nothing like living only on bitterness.
Then, a couple of weeks ago I travelled to China. They have recently implanted a new policy that all foreign visitors must have their fingerprints taken. There was a long line at the fingerprint stations, and it took about a half hour to get through. I placed my visa on the reader, and it immediately kicked out a paper telling me to bypass the fingerprint station. I asked the information lady why I could pass through. Her reply: "You too old".
Drop dead already, fool.
His service record shows him to be a liar. He ‘fought’ Japanese Imperialism, not European Fascism.
Funny man. Stick to comedy Carl.
He should have kept his mouth shut. TRUMP CURSE!!!!
As long as he agrees to leave the planet for good in 2020, I am all too happy to grant him the right to vote in the election to attempt to oust Trump.
Seems like a fair trade.
