If you teach classes at Cornell University that take class, race, ethnicity, nativity status, religion, gender, sexuality, or ability as an object of study, consider your job secure.
The Ivy League schools College of Arts and Sciences just approved new graduation requirements that will force students to take classes in these fields, dubbed social difference, The Cornell Daily Sun reports.

Students will no longer be able to skip an entire requirement under the new system, though they will be able to double-count up to two courses, the curriculum says: For example, they may use one course to satisfy both the Social Sciences and Global Citizenship requirements.
In other words signing up for a Blank studies course might actually be a twofer while taking a course say in Western Civilization is not.
What took them so long?
We need to stop subsidizing universities.
“...consider your job secure.”
Which is the only reason for it. It’s a plan to make ______
Studies degrees of some use because they sure don’t have any in the real world.
The diversity of the Left and Hipsters have something in common: they’re so individualistic that you can hardly tell them apart.
the massive education-industrial complex bubble, which supports hundreds of thousands of leftist ideologues and ultra-left monoculture and voting bloc - is supported by massive government spending and massive student debt.
Remove these two supports, and the bubble will pop, and it will eventually return to normal.
Diversity and inclusion is such a friggin’ scam.
Here is the summary of the diversity and inclusion that has been jammed down my throat:
You must alter how you do things, and grovel as much as you possibly can to accommodate anyone who speaks a language other than English, has customs that are different that those common in American culture, or believes themselves to be something other than they are born to be.
It’s madness, and I’m really glad I don’t have long left in the workplace.
Reeducation camp.
Given the total lack of intellectual content, value, and worth of these - uh - courses, is the college going to pay students to take them?
Or will they charge their normal tuition for a total waste of time, ruining poor student’s minds (what little they might have given college entry standards)?
Ah, social “justice” courses, the Yugos of the academic world.
