Kleenex works well for me. Plus I can discard them when finished shooting and replace them at virtually no cost at all......And if it’s cold and my nose is running, well, you get the picture.
I work at a range, and like the Ranger shooting glasses. For ears, when shooting I use custom molded plugs. When working, the electronic muffs, they allow me to hear whats going on.
Ear plugs plus headphones...
Pro Kennex Racquetball glasses
If they could perfect these eyeglass tech for the shooting realm, it would be pretty sweet:

Make these into a kind of heads up display. Able to provide video playback, round count, incoming fire source triangulation and location, etc...
I had electronic muffs. Sweaty on hot days. They eventually stopped working. Have been using Howard Leight Banded Ear Plugs. They go quick on for shooting off for conversation.
I first saw them worn by Hickock45 on YouTube.
Ultimately Id like to get molded electronic plugs.
“Ear plugs plus headphones...”
Yep. Ear plugs and muffs. I did this to tune out the world when studying in college.
Like the UPLULA, electronic muffs are things that make shooting vastly more pleasant. Putting it in perspective, caps without the stupid little "button" on top only make shooting a little more pleasant.
Get a suppressor.
It’s a total way to get in touch with your heartbeat...
They have safety plugs with Bluetooth. I’ve seen them run about $300+
Some are even custom molded for your ears.
Here’s some that a guy who runs a shooting range that I know uses, and loves:

Absolutely.
Works great for the SO too.
Best investment i ever made: Howard Leight by Honeywell Impact Pro Sound Amplification Electronic Shooting Earmuff
You can actually have a conversation with these on, yet gun shots are blocked.

And I add muffs on top when shooting magnum loads.

Beat me! +1
An added benefit..
Peltors, ProEars or Howard Leight .... Electronic-Noise Canceling w/ volume control.
If you’re shooting handguns, except for something bigger than .45, then just the ear muffs will suffice.
If you’re shooting bigger than .45 or AR15-AK-or bigger, than I suggest some ‘foamies’ in your ears and then the muffs. Years of being a tough guy and not needing that added layer of noise cancellation have left me a bit hard of hearing.
My 2cents.....
