That’s Ryan’s personal opinion and he may even hold it honestly. OTOH, I am sure that Trump consulted with Justice Department lawyers and was told he is on firm constitutional ground.

It’s not really going to matter much in the short term. Liberal lawyers are going to be charging into the courts to file injunctions against the order before the ink is dry, and I’m positive they will get one, which means it’s going to have to go all the way up to the Supreme Court before any real decision is made, and that’s going to take a couple years, at least.

So, what is Trump really trying to accomplish here? Thoughts?

It is only kept in place by executive action now. There has never been a decision on it by the courts. Before wholesale abuse it was popular. Now no so much.

BS, a 7th grader could read the 14th and understand it. There is not an honest bone in Paul Ryans body. He is a Traitor bent on Global Domination and the destruction of a Free America.
