No, if it can be shown that their efforts to stiff her and destroy her reputation was done with intentional malice... they could be liable for a lot more than the $69 Million her contract specified. Very few attorneys, even big time media attorneys are able to charge $500 to $1000 per man hour. The vast majority get a fraction of that.
I think the first phase is to try and convince the other guy that you’re serious. I agree with you, that NBC has a job to convince a jury that Kelly breeched her contract.
Still the balance owed her is obscene.
Funny how just about everyone on this forum predicted this. I can’t believe they paid her than much money, then put her in an entirely different setting rather than what she does.
She was never that good at what she does. She was fine in the field but behind the desk she was a big phony.
If she had toned her interviews down, been more like Barbar Walters or Judge Pirro with a side to bring out the good in the person she’s interviewing. No, she was always looking to apill out the negative and the dirt.
She made a lot of enemies very fast.
