That is a big part of this trend (”Anger towards media spreads into local communities”); when you see local columnists who would normally be writing about local concerns suddenly penning op-eds against Trump and the normals that support him, it is clear that even they though are small operators, the local news outlets are :fake news” - and thoroughly Dem in their outlooks.
My local rag is struggling to stay afloat as it faces a problem it helped create: a dearth of English speakers to read its BS.
There is this tendency to centralize and nationalize and that’s not the way it was meant to be.
The Founding Fathers would be disturbed by it all.
And they run their outrage tripe in no-subscription free newspapers that are thrown on your lawn, mainly to advertise local businesses, alongside the church and synagogue events, yard sales, golden anniversary and obituary notices, lost pets and graduations.
