Sometimes, we can catch our breath, slow down, refocus, recharge, regroup . . .
Whether we:
--tie a knot and hold on;
--take a walk in a yellowing aspen forest;
--sit in a park & feed the ducks;
--meditate on the Psalms;
--take a nap to the sound of a water fall or fountain;
--write a heart-felt poem;
--sing & worship in tongues or otherwise;
--hike to a mountain top and feel the wind blow through your hair;
--canoe down a gentle stream;
--hug a confused aged oldster who hasn't been touched lovingly in months or years;
--colored line drawings with a 5 year old gleeful to play with all the colors;
--held a happy satisfied young baby enraptured to gaze at your face;
--done a silly-walk dance in a park with some 7-10 year old siblings desperate for some fun silliness to relieve the horrors of their dysfunctional home life;
--sat still behind a big window or on a warm porch watching a thunderstorm blow in and across the valley or bay below;
--rest in stillness soaking in worship music or Beethoven or Mozart or Vivaldi or Gaither or Sir James Galway or Yo-Yo Ma or Love Song or Andre Segovia or Libera or . . .
>>I am exhausted and ready to just say the HELL WITH IT!
No, you’re not. You’re sharing your frustration with us because you know that we share it. We just all have different coping mechanisms for dealing with frustration. Humor has the advantage over throwing china at the wall, in that it saves money and the energy of cleaning up.
EVERYONE is tired. Everyone except DJT, it sometimes feels. But if that man can get up every morning, put on his vest under his suit, and open his door to the screaming hoards, then we can find the strength to get out there and stand behind him. The election is SO close. It’s terrifying knowing that it’s a gamble and we could still lose. But whether we win or lose, we need to find the calmness and the strength inside us, and help each other to find it, too, to keep standing behind that man who is fighting for us.
So keep screaming your frustration, and we’ll keep surrounding you with virtual hugs and love.
I’m very concerned about this:

They are trying to take a pro life site completely off the internet. Not twatter and fakebook but the internet. If that’s the way it’s going to be the government is going to have to nationalize the internet.
