Blah blah blah...
European Right are not anti-Israel. The source is probably leftist propaganda.
Yes, the European left is pretty virulently anti-Israel. Though, there are still fringe fascist groups in a lot of European countries that get lumped in with the “right” over there because they have a different kind of political alignment than we do.
Convoluted story. The problem lies in imagining the arguments of the past, which were valid then, superimposed over the issues of today.
That is, the “antisemitic far right” back then hated and tried to destroy Jews. But today, the “far right” is less antisemitic than is the “far left”. And while the far left today hates Israel, they are not necessarily willing to destroy Jews themselves; but to *import* Muslims to do it for them.
So Israel and Jews should change their tone and embrace the far right, as long as it is not antisemitic. And Israel and Jews should despise the far left both for its antisemitism and its desire to import severe and violent Muslim antisemites.
This is what this congressman was trying to do. Show his sympathies for both Israel and Jews, yet embrace those who want to keep out of Europe those who would destroy Israel and Jews.

during which almost all of the really awful, murderous anti-Semitism came from the far left (National Socialism-Hitler, Communism -Stalin and today’s British Labour Party and today’s DNC )
Since the Nazis who perpetrated the horror were hard left National Socialists, the right in this case are the good guys.
Psst ..the NAZIS were the FAR LEFT SOCIALISTS!
He met with them yes and said Soros was behind a lot of this. I guess now we can’t criticize Soros or we are anti-Semite.
