Outside of Yeshiva U. and Brandeis, NYU has one of the highest proportion of Jewish students of any university in America.
It appears even schools with a sizeable Jewish population are trying joining the BDS movement. The student gov’t at my alma mater where there is significant Jewish enrollment pulled off this stunt. The antisemities scheduled the vote to be held during Passover when many of the Jewish students would be off campus with the families. That was too much for the administration who vetoed the students.
Rose ASAF sounds like an Arab name, so no surprise. NYU is a hotbed of leftwing radicalism, so despite the high proportion of Jewish students, it’s also no surprise that the unfortunately brainwashed indoctrinated students, many of which probably went through the leftist-dominated NYC public school system, would rely on leftist media smears of Israel to vote for this. After all, how many states have a governor so slimy as to publicly aver, “America was never that great”?
