[A couple years ago, I switched to one of those mail-order clubs (Harrys) and cut my cost more than half. I believe the Harrys razors are made in Germany but Dollar Shave may have a made in America option. }

How are the Harry’s razors? Are they comparable in quality to say Gillettes? I can use one Gillette for several weeks with no problem.

The Harry's razors will last me two full weeks. I change them out every other Sunday. So a 4-pack will generally last about two months. I could probably stretch them longer if I really wanted to.

BTW, I was changing out the Gillette razors every two weeks as well - just a habit. I do not notice any difference in quality. About the same.

As far as I can tell, yes. I also get about 2 weeks per blade on Harry's, and they stay pretty sharp throughout. I also have found that I can get the blades at local Target, so I get them as I need them. Factory direct shipping was strange, got one order real early, another one just as the 2 weeks was finishing on my last blade.

Hopefully, they've solved the problem, but with on demand retailers, it's not my worry.
