So for years here I’ve always thought Maureen and Matthew Dowd were siblings.
From my Google search I discern many people think the same as there were many similar queries.

However I did pick up some intriguing gossip in my Google search. Seems that Matthew Dowd is seriously involved with Maria Shriver, former wife of Governor of California....Schwarzeneggar forgive spelling.
Dowd had been married twice before and I think he has like five kids.
Now he’s all involved with the Kennedys?
And still presented as some kind of Conservative?
I’m just sayin’.
Nothing to apologize for! I thought they were related until I wiki’d it. One of her brothers is extremely conservative.
What’s even a little more odd is that Dowd was the campaign manager for the 2006 Schwarzenegger run. Oh well, if everyone’s happy, have at it. Dowd lost one of his twins in the hospital, very sad.
