I do know baseball. Get a life you North Easterner. When the ball hit him he was right on the chalk line, about 3 feet from the bag. Quit crying like a Demcrat.

Heh cornball, just one last time for you.

Even if Bellinger had made his way back to "on the chalk line" as you say (which he did not), that is still not the test as to whether he violated the rule. THE FACT THAT HE OBSTRUCTED THE CATCHER'S SIGHT LINE and THROWING LINE to first base the entire time he ran down the line INSIDE the line is the definition of the interference rule.

The two all-time great baseball men, Harorld Reynolds and Joe Girardi were emphatic on the postgame show that he obstructed and should have been called out. They even put together a full, detailed 12 minute segment to illustrate to baseball fans what they saw. (Did you happen to see it? It was on about 1:30 EST.)

To conclude, I KNOW that those two excellent men and myself know a great deal more than you have ever considered about the game of baseball. Just enjoy it as the mysterious and ever perplexing game that it is.

Here are three good ones for you:

* Little League baseball is a very good thing because it keeps the parents off the streets. — Yogi Berra

* Lasorda's standard reply when some new kid would ask directions to the whirlpool was to tell him to stick his foot in the toilet and flush it. — Steve Garvey

* If you don't succeed at first, try pitching. — Jack Harshman

Now, go get your warm milk and go to bed.

"Quit crying like a Demcrat."

________

Is that like a "Repubcan"?

One more for you ...... even though you don't deserve it:

The way to catch a knuckleball is to wait until the ball stops rolling and then to pick it up. — Bob Uecker

Bellinger out on interference | 07/13/2018 | San Diego Padres (This time, from earlier in the summer, Sneaky Bellinger was even further inside the line breaking the rule..... but gets nabbed this time.) LOL
