I think socialist Gillam will win FL in a squeaker.

DeSantis is running perhaps the worst gubernatorial campaign in history.

Republican candidates need to forge their own mettle and be themselves rather than waiting on Trump to bail them out.

Recent polls show DeSantis leading.

Media would go nuts if Trump held a rally for a struggling candidate there!
So he ought to do it!

(Afraid I’m not up on the races in California.)

A lot of White Democrats will bail on Gillum, or at least enough of them to give DeSantis a narrow win.

You’re always a dollar short and a day late; or worse. Do try to keep up...DeSantis is now a few points ahead of the racist MARXIST crook!

I live in California, but I haven’t heard a peep from John Cox. He’s not making himself visible. I heard a conservative talk show host say that Cox goes to different cities, but he doesn’t announce where he is going because he doesn’t want the press to hound him. He just shows up somewhere and says here I am. His speculation was that Cox is overconfident that he will win. Maybe Trump feels Cox is not really trying, which would be a waste of his time when so many other Republicans are working their tails off to win.

DeSantis is now a few points ahead of the racist MARXIST crook!

The majority of polls have Gillam slightly ahead or the race a dead-heat.

I am telling you - DeSantis is running a s---ty campaign. He is resting on Trump's laurels. I have people in FL who are telling me he's not putting Gillam away. I hope DeSantis wins, but it's a toss-up.

You're one of the few FReepers I respect and concede that you're smarter than me. However, you're wrong.

Trump's statement about him not being responsible if Dims win back the House or even the Senate speaks volume. These Republican candidate ARE NOT making an effort to forge their own path. Remember that Trump is a master delegator. Unlike Obama's Lead from Behind, Trump wants people to take the initiative and be their own leaders themselves.

What has DeSantis done to do just that? Many of these Republican candidates are simply hoping Trump will hold a rally for them and that will be that. They need to get out there and be their own person.

DeSantis (and Kemp in GA) are running defense-oriented campaigns. They are not telling the truth about their opponents and instead are hoping that the electorate will vote for them by default.

Unfortunately, Abrams and Gillam has the media and Hollywood out there on offense. What people don't understand is that GA/FL is a miniature version of Battleground Texas. They are trying to flip both states blue for 2020.

Is the daily drip drip of evidence of Gillum’s corruption getting the traction it should in Florida?

Cox is practically invisible. No serious attacks on Newsome who wants to F-up Cal like he did SF.

What I noticed,When WE voted to let the top 2 candidates win the primary, meaning two demand no republican. WE also voted to not allow write-in candidates. great stuff.

So, the early voting tallies showing that Republican voters have a 70+ thousand lead, isn’t indicative of anything? Are half of those Republican votes going to Gillum?

At the end of the day, no one knows anything until around 8 or 9pm on 06November, but one could say that things might be looking good for DeSantis.

However, if he wins, he’s got 4 years to make some much needed changes. Otherwise, in 2022, Florida will have a Dem Governor and more.

Most, I guess, consider California election races a lost cause and California is a BLUE SWAMP.

Yes it is. It’s probably the biggest reason I left.
