Cannot do that unfortunately. One picture of me in a MAGA hat or at a rally and I lose half my clients lol.

I hear you on that and no doubt many of us are in the same position… if we care. I can’t begin to tell you the number of family members and business associates that I no longer have anything to do with because of Mr. Trump. In many instances, it’s not even because there was a discussion about POTUS or a disagreement… it was just me listening to what they have to say, sometimes asking some basic questions and then concluding…. “Life is short, I don’t really need to put up with this BS and I’ve got much better people to surround myself and work with than someone who has a bad case of TDS.”

Two weeks ago, I was invited out for lunch with a fellow who I’ve known for decades. At one point during lunch, he said something about Trump and then I commented…. and then he commented with phrases like “well I never could have imagined you supporting that racist” and me saying “can you give me one example of his racism?” to which he said “you’ve gotta be kidding”….. as if that was evidence that settled something. The upshot was us parting company. I won’t see him again and that’s not only fine with me , I say “good riddance”.

In many ways, President Trump has made life very easy as far as figuring out how and who to invest your time in. If you were to walk into my company, you’d see what I mean. Holding a job interview is quite easy these days…. If you want to find out if the interviewee is at all rationale, just find out what she/he has to say about President Trump. It’s not that hard to seamlessly work that into the discussion of an interview. It’s obviously not the only criterion to use as far as deciding who to hire but it’s quite reliable as far as separating out all those who are just plain nuts….after all, it's good to hire employees who are sane. To be clear, I have no desire or intention to hire 'Trump supporters'... but if a discussion involving President Trump is a surefire way to weed out insanity, that's a good thing.... if you needed a means test to make that determination.

Not that easy for me. Have a few contracts right now with my signature on them. So I have to fulfill those and coming out of the closet will make it difficult. And there are other responsibilities regarding public safety issues. But I applaud you for making a stand and taking the risk. That is what being an American is all about. Dang I cant wait until I retire.
