She’s a failure from a ratings standpoint, but her show is probably competently done. The real problem is that people don’t watch liberal channels for conservative content. That’s what Fox News is for. And at NBC, Kelly was probably handcuffed by her employers with respect to how conservative she could be. It’s not an accident that conservatives hired by liberal media companies immediately become less conservative. Some credit a kind of liberal mind meld. I’m inclined to think its job preservation at work. And I’m not saying this to criticize them. In the media world, it’s feast or famine. An engineer can get a job anywhere. A media personality is either a star or unemployed.
