World War 2 was caused by populism, and here I always thought it was due to ‘Socialism’. I mean Nazis are National ‘Socialists’ and Commies are International ‘Socialists’ and both favored Totalitarian states. The most killing of WW2 was between these ‘Socialist’ states. I am strongly disappointed at my church for electing this Idiot to be the Pope.
Such infantile comparisons are a sickening slap in the face to Holocaust victims and survivors.

As a Roman Catholic, I don’t agree with his definition of hate, and I don’t agree with the Jesuits’ definition of “love” either, which the Pope is trying to cover up.
Spent last Xmas in Italy and was at the Vatican for Xmas Day. I seem to remember the Vatican had some big honkin’ walls plus Swiss Guards and other Italian security all over the place. Maybe the Sistine Chapel should be converted to a homeless shelter? The hypocrisy is strong in this one. Believe Jesus had some things to say about this:

One of the nice things about being protestant is that if you find that the church you are in or even the organization that it is affiliated with has become too wacked out... you can work to change the church or you can find another church that fits your needs better. When you are Catholic your options are more limited and your ability to influence the organization are much more limited as well.
I guess the Vatican walls will be coming down then.

Glad to have become one of those protestants long ago that some people here seem to despise. If I was still Catholic, I’d be heading to a Bible-believing church as fast as I could.
