I suspect the answer is desperation. The narrative intended to throw the election ws the "poor starving migrants" being kept from a better life by "Republican racism". I suspect the feedback from the grass roots was that this was flying like a lead balloon. So time for an emergency regroup.
And earlier today I watched an interesting interview. The subject was an "expert", and a most aggressive one, declaiming his points with high dudgeon. But every point has a few keywords: fascism, terrorism, rightwing, ..." Clearly they were prepared talking points. Until he said "Even if the bombs are fake, it is still terrorism"
Excuse me? When have you ever heard such a comment during a bomb scare? The sock puppet got his lines confused, and let slip a talking point meant to be held in reserver, to be played after the bombs were shown to be fake: "Yes, they were fake, but it's still terrorism!!"
Did he know the bombs were fake? Probably not, no need for the sock puppet to be in on the plot, but the author of the talking points surely did know. And that blows the whole thing apart.

Not that their bomb laboratories do not find a great deal of forensic evidence, and piece it all together, in a very coherent report, pinpoint probable points of assembly and perhaps even the individuals involved, but that the report itself would be “buried”, i.e., not to see the light of day by decision of some of the higher-ups in the now greatly corrupted leadership of the FBI. And of course, any potential whistle-blowers would be absolutely throttled early on in the game.
Just like the report on the contents of Anthony Weiner’s laptop hard drive. All of the “missing” and highly compromising e-mails that were captured by Huma Abedin were also on that hard drive, along with Weiner’s catalog of pornographic images. They have been recovered, but the report was buried with all deliberate haste, so as to leave no trails or fingerprints.
“Gone missing”.
It was probably done by the FBI. And I expect Rosenstein to announce that he is re-scoping Mueller to investigate Trump for planting the bombs, or I should say, "bombs".
If they were serious about it, they would have sent real ones blown up a few of their staffers. You have to make real sacrifices in war to win. Officials at that level have not opened their mail in years. Staffers open their mail and everyone knows it.
This whole thing is so obviously a leftist false-flag operation it isn't even funny. Of course the left has gotten used to lying to the American public's face and getting away with it. The leftists have such a condescending attitude they no-longer even try to make their lies and manipulations believable. It's insulting.
The FBI won't find anyone because the left isn't going to bother to go to the trouble of framing any one person for it. They just want good publicity out of this, point the incidents at "the right" and let their MSM lapdogs do the rest. This is pure pre-election theater. They don't need a conviction in court a few months or years from now. They want/need a conviction in the court of public opinion next week.
The MSM knows what they're supposed to do. You can bet a few key people in the FBI and DOJ already know what they're supposed to do too. (we know these entities have already been corrupted) They are to run a fast "investigation" and leak all the right tidbits to the waiting MSM. They are *not* to go looking too seriously for the source of the packages because that would lead them back to the democrats - just like the Russian "collusion" accidentally did.
FBI needs to be radically reformed. Federal police would appear to be an anathema to a free republic. People that go into the FBI generally believe in big government; they believe that the Federal government must promote some sort of “good”. This makes them a part of the technocracy and supporters of the totalitarian Progressive State. THis aligns them with the establishment rinos and Dems.
That being said, we should still have an FBI, but it should be cut and used to focus on interstate issues and foreigners operating illegally in the US. Let the States take the lead in domestic police issues and use the FBI in an auxiliary capacity.
Until the FBI and DOJ are radically reformed, we should promote jury nullification. Therefore, anytime a Federal agent and prosecutor present evidence against a US citizen, jurors must consider that the evidence may have been obtained in violation of the constitution, or the prosecutor is manipulating US statutes, or the sentencing for the violation or crime is unjust.
It only takes one strong juror to resist Federal tyranny.
