I like Catherine, but she's wrong. A small metal bomb would probably weigh at least a pound, and that would require more than double the postage it had. That package never entered the mail stream.

I got this piece of information from Conservative Treehouse
Just an FYI if not already posted My uncle just retired from the post office. He said ALL NON STANDARD envelops must be hand sorted, and the stamps hand canceled. The automated system cannot sort them. If pre-posted they are weighed and if sufficient postage they are passed along. If not they are returned to sender. Either way they are given a bar code to expedite the delivery without having to be hand sorted again.
