ABCs The Conners in Week 2 drew 7.9 million total viewers and a 1.7 demo rating, dropping 25 and 29 percent from its launch and placing a distant second in the demo among non-sports programming (behind NBCs This Is Us).
Leading out of that, The Kids Are Alright (5.1 mil/1.1) was down 21 percent, black-ish (3.8 mil/0.9) dipped one tenth, and Splitting Up Together (2.9 mil/0.7) and The Rookie (4.4 mil/0.8) each slipped two tenths.
Foxs coverage of the World Series opener is currently reporting 12.6 mil and a 3.4, up 10 and 17 percent from the fast nationals for last years Game 1.
THE CW | The Flash (1.82 mil/0.7) was steady, Black Lightning (1.23 mil/0.4) ticked up.
NBC | The Voice (8.3 mil/1.6) slipped two tenths week-to-week, This Is Us (8.4 mil/2.1) dipped a tenth but led the night in the demo, and New Amsterdam (6.4 mil/1.3) ticked up.
Much more to come
.
Sweet philately. Nice.
Or, a TV.
Or, a TV.
I am from a large Catholic family, The Kids Are Alright is right on funny.
Funny.
So sad she died young.
The World Series will be over by the end of October. How will they explain the ratings crater in November? I’ll offer the same prediction now as I did before the show’s debut last week. It will be pulled from the schedule (going on hiatus in the biz) by January and never return. Official cancellation notice in late spring/early summer.
Cue to “Roseanne” laugh.
If it keeps dropping at that rate, it won’t be. ABC’s ratings are pathetic either way.
What IF Tim Allen used Roseanne in an episode of Last Man Standing?
He could be in an airport on his way to a convention of sporting goods or such, and the weather grounds the planes =——or a computer problem. Then he meets Roseanne who also is grounded in the same airport -— going to a different location-— & they spend the time comparing their CONSERVATIVE views of today’s America.
I’ll bet I could laugh until I almost pee my jeans.
