Of course we would call for a peaceful caravan, and our goal could be merely to close the border, not confront the individual illegals.
They don't belong here, but the protest is of our feckless government that is permitting it, much more so than of the illegals.

Up until now it seems we are hoping that someone else (FedGov? Trump? Sessions?) "takes care of it" and prevents the illegals from making it to America. A more virtuous people would rise up to defend what is ours.
The ideal intercept point would be 100 miles SOUTH of the USA Border. Simply ignore the Mexican authorities and drive around them on our way to meet the Caravan head on!

Their quickest route would be McAllen, TX which is 950 miles from where they were about 3 days or so ago. Heard on the news they were going to enter at Tijuana because CA is a sanctuary state. However, that’ll double their walk/ride. If that’s the case, they could cross on the east side of CA. Of course, after being processes they’re free to head to a town near you.
Here’s the deal: The Executive is charged with securing the border. Period.
If Trump doesn’t intercept them at the border - preventing them from crossing - the courts will intervene.
Thus, call your freaking Congressman; the wall would stop this shit. I support not a single wall, but one precipitated by an initial, minor barrier with warning signs of armed drones and deadly-force zone. This is the area I want to see the first armed/armored robots deployed (tracked or otherwise), killing anything which moves in the no-man’s land in between.
Regardless, the effect of an army of citizens on the border will backfire imho. We need to deploy the military.
