I met an incredibly nice clerk of courts at the city center. i was honest. Told her i was hard of hearing and really heard nothing much of what the LEO said. that night when I looked ay the ticket saw 28 (which was really 23.. Im not blind but in dark car with just low overhead light that is what I saw).
She could have really been rough but just let me pay the fine (which was already ridiculous for the OFFENSE) of 125. and we were good to go
I dated a Sheriff deputy for over a decade here in Ohiol REALLY clincked in almost every way- had everything imaginable in common -— but he was just too obsessed with his kids.. so i coundnt marry him. There is nothing wrong with loving your kids and participating in their life.. but as a psychologist I KNOW what obsession is... he is now the same wth his grandkids. He is miserable and has been
he told me a lot about QUOTAS that various regional smaller LEO districts maintain. You are encouraged to do so many citations a day. You are advised the easiest are older people with older vehicles. (a new mercedes will be more likely to hire an expensive attorney just to beat the case), Make sure the elderly person is alone. NO witnesses. Make sure the citation is an easy one.. 3 second violation the easiest. I filled all of the above.
so im poorer and only thing I know is that I won’t be going that route again or by that stop area. It is a sham area anyway where there should NOT be a stop sign. It is a L shaped intersection. There is never ongoing traffic to cross anyones path. If there ever was a ticket trap, this is it.
well, Im poorer .. not smarter... but happy to have gotten a break. IT WAS my fault for not getting the fee in early. I wasn’t going to court as then you have the additional court costs.
