Common core math is crazy! Texas never accepted it in their schools. I was helping my grandson with his homework when he was in 3rd grade, and it looked like common core. I went to the CC website for teachers, and there was the paper, his teacher had downloaded it. I let her know she wasn’t supposed to be teaching that nonsense.
They teach that if they do the process as they are told, that’s more important than getting the right answer! That is outlandish!

That’s because they know there are multiple ways to work a math problem and the smart kids will do it the way it’s been being done for many many years. So they won’t have control over those kids.
Plus, making the outcome not matter? Insanity. Liberal insanity.
